Who we are

This is more than just a shop—it’s a space where encouragement and empowerment are woven into every design and resource. From pun-filled apparel and accessories that brighten your day to digital tools that nurture growth, connection, and confidence, everything here is created with purpose.

Rooted in a deep passion for mental health, parenting, and child development, I offer resources grounded in the Parents as Teachers (PAT) model, Healthy Families America (HFA), Head Start, and the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ)—designed to support those raising and working with the next generation.

Whether you're here for a laugh, a learning tool, or a little bit of both, I hope you leave feeling seen, supported, and inspired.

Healing hearts. Nurturing growth. Strengthening families—with a laugh.

What We Believe

At Pawsitive Heeling, we believe that parenting support should not depend on income, eligibility criteria, or crisis thresholds. Every family deserves access to compassionate, evidence-based guidance that strengthens relationships and nurtures growth.

We value connection, curiosity, and kindness. Our work is rooted in child development science, trauma-informed care, and the belief that empowered caregivers create thriving children and communities.

Get to know the Founder!

Hi, I’m Lo!, the founder of Pawsitive Heeling, and I’m passionate about supporting families, educators, and leaders as they build emotional resilience and connection through trauma-informed practices.

With over 10 years of experience in the field of child development and emotional wellness, I specialize in Social Emotional Learning (SEL), reflective supervision, and trauma-informed yoga practices. My journey began with a deep commitment to nurturing healthy relationships and emotional growth in children, and it has evolved into a comprehensive approach that integrates evidence-based frameworks and holistic wellness practices.

I started as a preschool teacher working with infants and toddlers, then ventured into the rewarding world of Home Visiting. From there, I gained valuable experience with ABA intervention and case management as an Early Intervention Service Coordinator at the Regional Center. However, my true calling led me back to Home Visiting, where I could focus on empowering families by providing them with the tools to become their child's first teacher, setting them on a path to reach their full potential!

I’m certified by Brookes Publishing as a Trainer of Trainers (ToT) for the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ), which allows me to equip educators and home visitors with the tools to better understand and support children's developmental milestones. I’ve spent over 5 years now practicing reflective supervision, offering guidance and support to professionals working with families, and have been trained in the Parents as Teachers (PAT), Healthy Families America (HFA), and Head Start models.

Additionally, I’ve completed a certification through Breathe For Change in Mindfulness, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), and Trauma-Informed Yoga, blending mindful movement and emotional intelligence to provide a truly holistic approach to emotional growth.

I founded Pawsitive Heeling with one mission in mind: to provide a space where parents and educators feel supported, informed, and empowered to nurture growth in themselves and the children they serve. I believe that true growth begins with understanding, empathy, and self-awareness, and it is my joy to be part of that journey with you.

Whether through coaching, reflective supervision, or mindfulness practices, I’m here to help you develop stronger relationships, promote emotional resilience, and create environments where everyone can thrive.
